Welcome to the Massapequa Lacrosse Site
-
Home of the Mud Dogs
Massapequa Lacrosse Club is a not-for-profit organization
founded in 2001 with the sole purpose of bettering the
sport of lacrosse in the Massapequa’s.
MLC has been a community leader, partnering with other
Massapequa sports organizations to keep our kids playing. Some
of the positive results that MLC is Responsible for:
- Create a fun learning environment for
the children of Massapequa from all grades to experience
and play the great game of Lacrosse. Children of all
skill levels are encouraged through positive coaching
techniques to play lacrosse and develop friendships that
may last a lifetime.
- The Field of Dreams
- The turf fields at John Burns
Park
- The Town of Oyster Bay competitive
Lacrosse League
- To date raised a total of just over $100,000.00
to benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through
our annual Supervisor’s Cup Lacrosse Tournament
- Contributed $2,500.00 to the P.A.L. and
Metropolitan Lacrosse memorial for James Regan in 2007
Our philosophy has lead us to
tap into Long Island’s rich lacrosse history and
increase the level of our training. We recruit
professionals, college All-Americans and lacrosse icons
from every generation to help us with our camps and clinics
to keep the values that lacrosse teaches. This is a great
game and in a great place like Massapequa our kids should
have the best opportunities the sport has to offer.
Thanks for being a part of it!
